We can always do better, be better and so can our businesses and organizations. If you see areas that you believe can be improved (based on your knowledge and experience of course) please act on that. Focus on your own success, not failures of others
No matter what one does they will always be faced with and challenged by those who don’t believe in them; have doubts or simply want to discourage them from leaving their comfort zone. If you know what your passion is, what you enjoy doing and are good at (quality is important) then all that is left is for you to …
WordPress Plugins: Bad Behavior Error in v.2.2.11
Bad Behavior WordPress plugin v.2.2.11 has a typo (missing a comma) in file blacklist.inc.php on line 94. To resolve this issue, go to (via SFTP) /wp-content/plugins/bad-behavior/bad-behavior and edit blacklist.inc.php on line 94 by adding a comma after “Nikto/” so it looks like “Nikto/”, That should allow you to regain full control of your dashboard once again.
Outlook 2010 window doesn’t maximize
Here’s an issue I experienced recently (not really sure what caused it), but as I’m sure it happens to others as well I decided to post a quick solution that worked for me. For some reason Outlook 2010 (on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1) wouldn’t launch. I mean the application would start, but the window wouldn’t open to full screen and …
Gmail Manager for Firefox works again
If you are like me and heavily use several Firefox add-ons, chances are that Gmail Manager is one of them. It is a great add-on to manage multiple Gmail accounts (as the name implies). However, with the latest Firefox update (v. 6.0.2) it broke and wouldn’t login. No worries, after a bit of searching I came across a solution that …

This could be a nice change considering the growth of both screen resolutions and monitor sizes and as well all know instant gratification is highly rated nowadays, so the real-time component will be much appreciated. Now, if I could only opt-out of being …
Firefox in the enterprise – is it ready and does it care?
Firefox 6 “eating” the web (or only cupcakes)? Firefox 6 is here, now what. Mozilla’s rapid release development cycle for Firefox is getting a bit out of hand as it seems that every 6-8 weeks they release a new full version of their browser which causes difficulties in enterprises. Even their Rapid Release Calendar looks insane. Don’t get me wrong, …

They have been hosting several of my websites for years now and while I’ve been lucky enough not to have any technical issues, last night around midnight EST I had to contact them for assistance. Last night, I called about an issue with php version while modifying a plugin …
How I tracked and recovered a stolen iPhone
This past weekend my wife’s iPhone was stolen from a store in Secaucus, NJ. While in store, she placed it down to try on a pair of shoes and then moved an isle down to take a look at another item which was long enough for the phone to “disappear”. Once she realized that she was missing her phone it …
Blackboard Mobile Learn on iOS and Android
Blackboard’s (Bb) Mobile Learn app has been working fairly well on my iPhone for months now so I figured I would give it a try on a different platform (Android) as well for comparison sake. This was not meant to be, but let me explain. Recently, we have purchased a Motorola Xoom (along an iPad 2 for testing and feature …
