Motivating yourself


Sooner or later you will have a day or two, maybe even a week (hopefully not much longer than that) where you will lack motivation to contribute, to put in your 100%.
On those days (and in general) you can do several things to try to recapture your motivation:

  • Be grateful what you have – strengthen your spirit
  • Keep your mind sharp – read, listen, learn
  • Keep your body sharp – start with simple walks, eventually go beyond comfort levels
  • Be inspired – learn from successful people; get a role model
  • Put a plan together – actual plan in writing with measurable steps

Finally, if all above fails, and worst of all, keeping yourself busy will make those days pass by more quickly.
