Over the past couple of weeks majority of my time was spent on getting plans in order to be able to do some home renovations, improvements and a small addition. The level of detail required to get permits to do work on your own house is unbelievable. I get that everyone has to get their cut, but it still seems like a lot of work to get a piece of paper allowing me to do make these fairly minor changes to the house I pay for.
Sorry for the brief rant, but I had to share. Hopefully, tomorrow I’ll be in a better mood and be able to focus on things that actually make sense.
