Mir Boziji, Hristos se rodi!

Today is Christmas for those in the Eastern Orthodox faith and I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe, happy and joyful day with their families and friends.

    Also, it’s amazing how close “Hristos se rodi” is to the Polish equivalent “Chrystus się rodzi”.

    Poland is predominantly Roman Catholic though so we celebrated our Christmas back in December. :)

    It really does sound very close. I guess similarities come from the Slavic language commonalities (West Slavic in your case and South Slavic in mine). :)
